Recently, Cai Rong, secretary of the party branch and general manager of Suzhou Rail Transit City Line 1 Co., Ltd., said, "We want to build line S1 into a green, intelligent and humanistic rail transit, and become a demonstration project for infrastructure interconnection in the Yangtze River Delta, and the installation and decoration of all stations on the site has started, and strive to open trial operation in June 2023." ”
Recently, the shield section between Yangcheng Hunan Station and Yujia Lighting Station of Suzhou Rail Transit S1 Line Project has successfully achieved 7.848 kilometers of shield tunnel double-line penetration, and the communication link between "Suzhou City District - Kunshan" has also become the longest shield tunnel in Suzhou
On May 26, 2020, the S1 line project S1-TS-02 was marked at the first shield boring site of the Fisherman's Lighting Station, marking the official entry of the S1 line construction into the shield stage. After 578 days of intense construction, on the eve of New Year's Day in 2022, it was successfully completed to the S1 Line Yangcheng South Station located in Suzhou Industrial Park.
