According to American journalist JD Shaw, former NBA center Hashemit Tabit is close to joining the Fujian men's basketball team and recently played in the Taiwan League.
Hashemite Tabit, born in 1987, 221cm tall, 119kg, center forward. In the 2009 NBA Draft, Tabit was selected by the Grizzlies with the second pick in the first round. During the NBA career regular season, Tabit averaged 10.5 minutes per game and had 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds. While playing in the Taiwan League, Tabit averaged 18.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game, and was the most recent defender of the year.
