Recently, Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said at the CES 2022 event that 17 studios are currently making first-party games for the PS5 platform.
Jim Ryan said that among the 17 studios, Nixxes Software, which specializes in porting PC games, is also among them, which is responsible for porting PS games to PC platforms. It's unclear if the studio will ever make its own original game.
Earlier last year, Jim Ryan said that PS studios were working on 25 PS5-exclusive games, half of which were brand new IPs.
