My grandmother is ninety years old and deaf or blind. In particular, the memory of the old days in Huangxian County, Shandong Province, is particularly clear. Along the way, I looked for opportunities everywhere to explore the local Huangxian elderly, hoping to learn more about the history, folklore, and monuments of Laohuang County from them... However, I was greatly disappointed, and many young people were not very interested in Huangcheng's past. Even if you encounter some elderly people who claim to be Huangxian people, a little deeper understanding, most of them are rural people who belonged to Huangxian County at that time, basically have no worldly understanding of Laohuang County, and naturally have a blank look at the history of Laohuang County. Then there are some deaf and blind elderly people, it is possible that they can tell some of the past of Huang County, but considering that communication is very difficult, so they have to give up. Where was the Old City God Temple before liberation? Where is the Wall of Huangxian County? Where is the Stone Arch in the north of the city? Where is the small bridge about the Imperial Temple? Where is the Wei Zhong Temple? Tianjing (pronunciation) temple? Where is the first Four Ponds Temple? ...... These monuments have made many people in Huangcheng shake their heads in silence today. Talking about the North Alley where my elders have lived for generations, some enthusiastic Huangxian villagers gave detailed and detailed guidance, and also sent me over with painstaking efforts in the ancient road, which made me feel sincerely moved. But when I saw it after that, it was very different from the scene that my grandmother described to me tirelessly. I couldn't find the well on the small bridge that had been feeding the whole village for generations; Nor can it be found that the GuanLaoYe Temple built in the Ming Dynasty on the bridge; I can't find my grandmother's former home, Zhao Family Hutong. This may be a microcosm of Huangcheng's vigorous development and urban planning in recent years.
After it got dark, I went to the door of Ding's old mansion under the guidance of the locals, and on the mottled wooden door, I couldn't find the shiny golden door flowers. So I imagined as much as possible the scene where the old man in satin and the wives with pearlescent and oily noodles used to live there, the busy figure of the old mother in the courtyard with a blue shirt and black pants, and the picture of the little concubine standing by the door dressed in red and green... So the ear rang out, "Look at people, look at us." Look at the city of Zhao Yonghua, the red lacquer gate golden gate flower..." the ballad. This grandmother kept nagging songs when I was very young, and I was already familiar with them, and they were full of longing and yearning, but I was disappointed to be here. For the sake of years of persistence, with the love for Huang County, I visited this old house that made many people feel magical like my grandmother. In the courtyard, looking for the mysterious iron pot, looking for the mysterious ancient well, looking for the mysterious peach tree, looking for the exquisite ringing wall, looking for the unique fish tank, looking for the strange corner door... However, they are not satisfactory, I thought: a city's prosperity can not be separated from the support of the back of the historical and cultural elements, excavation and sorting out rich local characteristics, full of unique folk atmosphere, the increasingly faded folk memory, should be put on the table, while the insiders are still there. Along the way, I secretly coveted the sea miscellaneous mixture of the legendary Huang County town "Tong Zengfu" in my heart.

In my dreams at night, I dreamed of my grandmother telling me about their family's ancestral grave outside the city, dreaming of the church school she once attended, dreaming of the fortune teller who advocated women to abandon the bad habit of binding feet, dreaming of my grandmother's youth in Nanshan to assist the Eighth Route Army in fighting devils...
