Fang Hua, pen name Clay Man, is a native of Chaohu, Anhui. He is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the China Essayists Association, a director of the China Chemical Journalists Association, a member of the Anhui Writers Association, a vice chairman of the Hefei Writers Association, the chairman of the Chaohu Writers Association, the executive editor of Chaohu Lake, and the editor-in-chief of the poetry journal Chaohu. More than 1 million words of various genre works have been scattered in more than 1,000 newspapers and magazines in China, North America, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and have been selected into a variety of anthologies and tutoring materials for primary and secondary school students, and have been reprinted by abstract newspapers and periodicals.
