The types of rescue surgeries include: liver transplantation (pediatric and living donor liver transplantation, special case liver transplantation), kidney transplantation (kidney transplantation under special circumstances), heart transplantation, lung transplantation, small intestine transplantation, pancreatic transplantation, islet cell transplantation, cardiopulmonary combination transplantation, liver and kidney joint transplantation, pancreatic and renal joint transplantation, and multi-organ transplantation.

"I hope that through the development of this project, transplant patients with poor families will be treated in a timely manner, so that they can recover their health as soon as possible and return to society as soon as possible." Liu Fang, executive vice president of the Medical Development and Medical Aid Foundation of the First Hospital of Jilin University, said.

It is reported that in addition to the subsidy of treatment costs for patients in difficulty, the project will also provide social work services and humanistic care for patients and their families. (End)
