The first time I came, in a certain month of a certain year, the plague of white water was raging, and the whole city was shrouded in bleak terror. Lü Dongbin rushed to hear the news and carried a gourd on his back to administer medicine. He responded to everything he needed and went door to door. A few days later, the plague was gone. In the face of the people who came to thank him one after another, Lü Dongbin replied with a sentence of "treating the sick and saving people without asking for thanks" and quietly left.
The second time to Lüsi, during the reign of Jia Xiangdao of the Southern Song Dynasty. Lü Dongbin incarnated as a hermit and refined the elixir in a secluded place. The local old man surnamed Tao knew that he was not a mortal and went to visit. Lu Dongbin was about to leave. The old man hurriedly stepped forward to grab Lü Dongbin, and in the panic, he only grabbed his sleeve, and the man rode away on a crane. I didn't expect the sleeve in my hand to change into a peach leaf. When he returned home, he planted peach trees widely. The local people were influenced by it and planted peaches together. Lü Si had a large peach forest. Taolin became the "Peach Tree Mudi" of the "Eight Views of Lüsi".

In the fourth year of Ming Hongwu, Lü Dongbin came to Lüsi for the last time. This time, in order to save people, he transformed into a lame monk and cried at the door of a small hotel. When the hotel owner saw that he was pitiful, he ordered Xiao Er to prepare wine and dishes and invited him to come into the restaurant to eat. The monk entered the shop with tears in his eyes. He ate and drank very happily, and even drank the wine stored in the hotel.
After drinking and eating, he pulled the shop owner along, and both turned into white cranes and flew away. It turned out that he had inspected the store owner's kind heart, and he became a fairy in the shop.
Folk have always had a preference for Lü Dongbin. There are many legends about him. In some places, he is honored as Lu Zu. I have seen more than one "Lu Zu Hall". Because of Lü Dongbin, the reputation of Taoism is much greater. Lü Si, because of Lü Dongbin, has gained a lot so far.
Catch the sea
