In 1839, the year of Daoguang's death, the literary scholar Wu Chichang wrote a book called "Guest Window Gossip", which recorded a case of child abduction. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, a rich couple in Zhejiang secretly abducted and sold children, and they either sold these children to others, or killed and ate them, or refined children into elixirs, which was surprisingly cruel.

The county magistrate did not know how to do it for a while, and at this moment, Fu Ziwen, who was about to go to church, directly frightened to death after learning of this incident, and this child trafficking criminal died in the public court in this form. The county magistrate couldn't do anything about it, he couldn't sentence those onlookers to death, so he had to sigh and then reprimand the onlookers, saying, "You guys have let these beasts die a good death."
Indeed, according to the laws of the Qing Dynasty, Fu Ziwen could not escape Ling Chi's execution, and this extreme method of death would make people want to die before they died, but the crowd came to such a show, but it made Fu Ziwen die easily.
Through this incident, we can know that in ancient times, whether it was official punishment or public opinion, there was no tolerance for those who abducted and trafficked children.
As we said earlier, Fu Ziwen abducted and sold children, either by selling or killing, in fact, in the feudal era, there was a more inhumane practice, that is, "harvesting life and folding", "picking" is the meaning of taking, "birth" refers to those young children, "cutting" is to use external means to turn these children into disability.
