During the May Day holiday, the Litian Football Training Base in the 17th Middle School College in Anqing City, Anhui Province, presented a vivid and busy green picture: many players tried out here, and the team that organized the trial training was an old team that was ready to re-emerge from the jianghu - Anhui Litian.
To be precise, Anhui Litian has always existed, but in these years, they have been silently busy with youth training, not participating in the mid-championship and competing for qualification in higher-level leagues through the mid-championship.
However, now, all indications show that Anhui Litian, after 5 years of silence, is ready to make a comeback and show a new style on the national green stage.
Before the festival, Anhui Litian Football Club released a trial training notice showing that Anhui Litian has registered for the 2021 season of the Chinese Champions League, and now needs to strengthen the first team and organize the first team trial in 2021. Among them, the trial training requirements pointed out that those who have experience in the first team and reserve team of professional clubs are preferred.
This trial notice released a lot of information: first, it shows that Anhui Litian is ready to participate in the 2021 season of the championship; secondly, Anhui Litian is now organizing the first trial of the year, that is, it is not excluded that there will be a second and third ... Third, in this trial, players with professional experience will be preferentially hired. This shows that Anhui Litian's participation in the championship should not simply play, but have a higher pursuit. It should be noted that from the perspective of the last two seasons of the Chinese Champions League, as long as it is obviously reinforced and seriously prepared, it is expected to advance to the Chinese Second Division Professional League, even if it fails to directly promote, there is a high probability of qualifying through the form of supplementary.
In this way, Anhui Litian is likely to launch a new impact on the Chinese Second Division. If this is the case, this will be the second time that Anhui Football has sounded the rallying cry of entering professional football after the 2018 season.
Fans familiar with Anhui football should know that in the 2017 season, there was an Anhui team called Hefei Laureate, which ranked in the Middle B and performed well in the first half of the 2018 season of the Chinese Second Division, of which former international Zhao Peng was also on the team.
However, in the middle of the season, due to salary arrears, Hefei Laurel failed to pass the qualification review of the salary and bonus confirmation form required by the Chinese Football Association, and finally announced its dissolution in the middle of the season, entering history. At this point, Anhui football once again disappeared from the map of China's professional leagues.
Before the Hefei laurel, it was Anhui Litian who once carried the banner of Anhui football. Officially established in August 2014, the team won the National Amateur League (the predecessor of the Chinese Championship) East Division championship and finished 9th in the finals. In the 2015 season, Anhui Litian officially appeared in the Chinese Football Association Cup and the Chinese Second Division, creating the history of Anhui football. That season, under the leadership of Anhui's first foreign coach Dakonović, Anhui Litian finally ranked 5th in the Central B Southern Division.
However, in early 2016, Anhui Litian completed the main equity transfer. The team went north, went to Harbin, Heilongjiang, and changed its name to Heilongjiang Volcano Mingquan (just renamed Heilongjiang Ice City this season), and Liao Chengjian and other powerful players also went to Heilongjiang. In this way, Anhui Football once again lost its professional football team.
Now look, among the 16 teams that participated in the Chinese Second Division in 2015, there are only 3 teams that are still playing in the Chinese Second Division and above: Meizhou Hakka, Hebei Elite, and Baotou Southern Suburbs. Among them, Meizhou Hakka is now in the Chinese League A, and the name has not changed; the Elite of Hebei has been divided into two teams of Hebei Kung Fu and Hebei Zhuo'ao, which are currently in the Middle B; the southern suburbs of Baotou have been renamed Inner Mongolia Caoshangfei and are still working hard in the Middle B.
If Anhui Litian can return to the second division, then this old team will return with ambitions, and Anhui football will once again appear on the chinese football professional map.
