Other Player of the Month nominees for December are:
West: Curry, James, Alexander,
East: Alphabet Brother, DeRozan, Garland, Lowry, VanVleet.
Many friends will wonder why DeRozan performed so well, but not the best player in December?
The main problem is that the number of appearances is not enough.
DeRozan played eight games in December, as Azan was forced to suspend three games in early December after being plagued by the coronavirus. The Bulls also suffered a wave of COVID-19 infection in mid-December, which forced the Bulls to postpone three games to 22 years.
Even though the Bulls won the game in which Azan played, the number of appearances eventually led to DeRozan's defeat, which was a pity.
In addition, the NBA also announced the best rookie and the best coach in December.
The best rookies in December were Thunder guard Gidy in the West and Magic forward Wagner Jr. in the East.
Gidy averaged 11.0 points, 6.4 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game. He ranked first in assists per game among all 21 rookies, third in rebounds, and 8th in points per game.
And the day before yesterday' game, Gidey also became the youngest Mr. Triple-Double in history!
Wagner Jr. averaged 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, ranking first in all 21 rookies per game, while he made 14 appearances in December and got seven 20+ tally.
