After a long time, people remembered that the bridge had been erected by Old Li with his body; the red river water was stained with his blood. Because there were too many chariots and horses, and the vehicles were all wooden, they broke his tail. Since then, Old Li has no tail and has become a bald-tailed Old Li.
When the Qianlong Emperor learned of this, he was very touched and made up his mind to seal it; but in the end, because when he returned from the lower Jiangnan, he never walked through this place again, so he finally did not seal it. (Zhang Qihou)
