ROG seems to have always been obsessed with the game tablet, in the early years released a two-in-one product called "Super God X", and its i9+RTX2080Ti configuration has brought us a shock. And it seems to continue this product positioning, ROG has brought us a new two-in-one product at CES 2022: ROG Phantom X.
As a two-in-one product, the ROG Magic X can certainly be used independently in the form of a "tablet", it is equipped with a touchable screen, you can choose FHD resolution + 120Hz refresh rate or 4K resolution + 60Hz refresh rate of different configurations. Incidentally, it also features a rear cover bracket that can support the computer at an angle of up to 170°.
Its configuration is also as impressive as ever, in the 1.2kg weight, 12mm thick body, it put into a 14-core factory 12th generation processor i9-12900H and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti, but also equipped with LPDDR5 5200MHz memory. However, here still need to add that although the configuration looks very good, but limited by the fuselage, its actual performance may not be particularly good, and it will have to wait until the actual measurement data after the sale to prove it.
The ROG Magic X has a wide range of interfaces, including an audio composite interface, a USB Type-A interface, a USB3.2 Type-C that supports DP1.4 and PD charging, a high-speed Thunderbolt 4 interface and a Micro card reader interface, and a special interface that can connect to the XG Mobile graphics card docking station. With this extended interface, it can also further upgrade the graphics card configuration for a higher-end PC experience.
Although other phantom series products have been listed one after another, the price of this phantom X does not seem to have been announced. The aforementioned Super God X is priced at 66499 yuan, and guess how the Phantom X will be priced?
