Hernanes: I will return to Italian football for the sake of my family, and my first priority is to spend time with my family

In an interview with L'Interista, former Juve, Lazio, Inter milan player and former Brazilian international Hernanez said he would return to Italy.

Hernánes said: "Just yesterday and today I had a conversation with the coach and senior management of Sport Recife and we made the decision together. ”

"For family reasons, I decided to return to Italy. Because I want to be closer to my kids. Although I haven't found my next home yet, I will continue to work on it. Both Recife Sport and I are sorry, but now my priority is to find a way to be with my family as I have been out of home playing all over the world for 5 years. ”

"In Italy, I have at least a month a year to devote myself to my children. If there is an invitation from the Italian club to me, I am willing to negotiate with it. I haven't found my next home now because I just made my decision. I am open to all offers from Italy and am delighted to be back in Italy. ”

Hernanez, 36, has his contract with Recife Sport expiring on 31 December 2021. He made 17 appearances for the team last season, 15 of them starting with no goals or assists. After leaving Juventus in 2017, Hernanes played for Hebei Huaxia Happiness and São Paulo, and in August 2021, Hernanes joined Recife Sport on a free transfer from São Paulo.
