The last game of the penultimate week of the regular season was a civil war in the United States. Cleveland Brown, who has no playoff possibilities, visited Pittsburgh to challenge their steelmen in the same zone. Steelers veteran quarterback "Big Ben" Ben Rossberg is likely to retire at the end of the season, so this game is also seen by many as the last home game of his Steelers career.
