Barikun Kazakh Autonomous County is located in the eastern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in the northern foothills of the eastern section of Tianshan Mountain, adjacent to Balikun Mountain and Hami City in the south, and the county seat of Balikun Town is 570 kilometers away from Urumqi City. It borders Yiwu County to the east, Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County to the west, and Mongolia to the north. The total area of the county is 37,303.79 square kilometers.

Bali kun grassland is located in the Hami region in the northeast of Xinjiang, where there are eight scenic spots and monuments such as "Songxue in the Tianshan Mountains", "Hanhai Aocheng", "Jingquan Suyue", "Yuetai Liusheng", etc., and is the second largest grassland in Xinjiang. The Bari Kun grassland is fat, rich in pasture, fresh air and green grass, which is a good place to escape in summer and winter.
