BlackBerry OS stopped functioning, and a generation of "god machine" BlackBerry lost to the times

A generation of "divine machines" has come to an end, and the exclusive system blackBerry OS created for blackBerry phones is about to end service.

Recently, BlackBerry officially announced that after January 4, 2022, it will no longer provide older services for BlackBerry 7.1 OS and earlier, BlackBerry 10 software, BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1 and earlier, and these traditional services connected through carriers or Wi-Fi will no longer run reliably. In other words, common functions such as phone calls and text messages will no longer be available.

BlackBerry was born before the turn of the millennium and features a full QWERTY physical keyboard. In 2006, BlackBerry's new series 7100 "Charm" became a hit, and this product with camera, navigation and BBM chat functions was loved by consumers. In 2009, BlackBerry won 20% of the world's market, when Android and iOS were just emerging.

Since then, with the strengthening of Apple and domestic mobile phone brands, BlackBerry, which lacks revolutionary technology, has gradually declined, and its influence on the world is no longer there. In 2016, BlackBerry announced the end of its smartphone business, and the company's focus will shift to the software part, and its mobile phones will begin to use the Android version. At that time, some people in the industry commented that at the moment of the rise of touch screen mobile phones, BlackBerry with a physical keyboard was not timely and lost to the times.

The last time BlackBerry sparked a hot discussion was the agreement with TCL to authorize the latter to use its brand on future mobile phones and sell BlackBerry mobile phones globally, but the cooperation between the two sides has never set off a big storm in the mobile phone market; in February 2020, BlackBerry announced that from August 31, 2020, TCL Communications, which has obtained brand authorization, will no longer sell BlackBerry-branded mobile devices, nor will it have the right to design, manufacture and sell any new BlackBerry mobile devices. At the same time, BlackBerry also stressed that it will develop a BlackBerry 5G mobile phone with partners, but so far there has been no news.
