【Teachers and students have something to say】
Guangming Daily reporter Yang Sa interviewed and sorted out
"Half an acre of cotton field on campus" brings different feelings and experiences to the teachers and students of the primary school of Tsinghua Affiliated Yongfeng School, let's listen to it together.
●Yang Min, Science Teacher, Primary School of Tsinghua Affiliated Middle School Yongfeng School:
Part of elementary school science is plants. The reclamation of this half-acre cotton field gives us an opportunity to observe the plants. The children were very excited to enter the cotton field, and through the observation activities of the cotton field, the children's ability to find problems was greatly improved.
●Yang Xuesong, psychology teacher of the primary school of Tsinghua Affiliated Middle School Yongfeng School:
Psychology focuses on unconditional acceptance, respect and care for life. The cotton field of the school has truly played a role in the companionship of life for the children. The children grow up with the little cotton seedlings, which is a kind of mental health education in itself, allowing them to grow up to the sun. After the children grew up with the cotton baby, they loved life more, they were friendlier, they felt that learning was not so boring, and they loved our campus more.
●Liu Chang, a graduate of the Primary School of Tsinghua Affiliated Middle School Yongfeng School:
Our teachers will integrate cotton and cotton fields into our learning in particularly interesting ways. I was a member of the school choir, and the teacher sent us a sheet music about the cotton fields. Later, I learned that this was a song created by the teacher himself, and it was very good to sing. Although I graduated, my feelings for the cotton field are still very deep. From sowing seeds to watching it grow, to growing cotton, it is particularly happy to see the fruit planted by your own hands. We harvest not only cotton, but also knowledge and joy.
