I have always believed that Xi'an people who live in high-rise buildings lack neighborly affection between neighbors, live in the opposite door for almost many years, and do not even know what the other party's surname is, let alone what the name is, how many people in the family, where to work, whether the children are in primary school or middle school, all of which are unknown.
Because, for many years, we rarely met each other to say hello.
On the first day of the lockdown, because it was so sudden, when I was cooking dinner at home, I found that there was no salt. This meal is really impossible to make.
He plucked up the courage to knock on the door of the neighbor's house, and the man who opened the door was a man who had been seen for more than ten years and had seen no more than 2 digits. Who knows, he didn't say a word, took a bag of salt for me, and said very politely, what is missing in the future will be silent.
In the days that followed, he sent me a few potatoes, a few turnips. One day, he brought over a bowl of cold skin and said that he had learned to steam it at home.
In this particular period, I also have nothing to return. I learned that in the past, everyone didn't come and go because they were too busy, not cold.
In the community group, everyone is exchanging what is missing or surplus with each other.

To be honest, I used to have an opinion on landlords in Xi'an, in fact, maybe all landlords in the country are the same. But this time Xi'an lockdown, I saw another side of Xi'an landlord.
Xi'an on December 23, 2021, the whole city was closed, the landlord of Yanta District, Mr. Ming's family, most of the tenants rented are junior and senior college students, they are too late to go home because of the epidemic, and life has become a big problem for a while.
Under such circumstances, the landlord Mr. Ming will provide free food for these students from December 27.
He said: The children in the sealing control can only eat instant noodles every day to fill their hunger, I can't ignore it, I want to help them get through the difficulties. I also hope that my children will be helped by well-wishers when they encounter difficulties outside in the future. I help them, which is also an ordinary person, to do a little bit of power for the epidemic in Xi'an.
He also said: As long as I eat, there are children to eat. Many students did not want to go, and gave him food expenses, but he refused.
He didn't speak boldly, just acted silently!

Dong Li, the landlord of Yanghe Village in Baqiao District, Xi'an City, has 9 tenants in his family, and usually except for two or three households that cook their own food, the other basically do not cook.
These days he looks at some tenants with a single diet, so he conveniently gives them extra meals, dong Li when he packs buns at home, thinking that since he also wants to eat, it is better to pack more by the way, and send a little to his tenants.
Dong Li said: Although there is not a lot of contact with tenants, these days they do not leave home every day, and their diet is relatively single, so I want to help them at this time.
For Dong Li, he just wants to do his best to express the enthusiasm of xi'an locals in a special period.

Tian Ye is a second-hand car dealership owner, and when the epidemic broke out, the community was closed and managed. Tian Ye learned that the front-line medical workers could not eat, and he happened to have a small shop selling beef products, so he began to mobilize the clerks stranded in the store to wrap beef dumplings and deliver meals to the front-line epidemic prevention personnel.
"In order for them to eat hot dumplings, we are all freshly cooked." Tian Ye said their first meal of dumplings was delivered to Yanta Street, when the clerks drove a van with wrapped dumplings, as well as stoves, liquefied gas tanks and pots, and cooked them for the staff on the spot outside the quarantine area.
They also filled the bottles of mineral water with chili oil and vinegar for everyone to season.
On a cold day, eating steaming freshly boiled dumplings, the epidemic prevention staff are very satisfied. The dumplings wrapped by the field and the clerks were large, 15 pieces per portion. On the first day they gave away 50 servings, and by the time the supply had reached 150.
Under the epidemic, they could not have done this, but they chose to do so, and this transmission of love warmed the epidemic prevention workers and made this winter no longer cold.

Hu Shuwen's daily task is to dispatch and arrange more than 70 people to transfer nucleic acid testing and epidemic prevention materials. At the same time, she is also the "last car" in this team.
"We must make sure that there is a mission to go immediately." Hu Shuwen said that in the past week, from 6 a.m. to zero morning, she kept spinning and standing by like a top almost every day.
There are also those courier brothers, this time is also the hardest. In order to ensure the living needs of Xi'an people, they rush every day on the road to deliver supplies.
There are also volunteers who assist staff in nucleic acid sampling at the daily nucleic acid testing site. Every time you put on your protective clothing, you have to stand for 6 to 8 hours, eat only one meal a day, and can't drink water because you don't have time to go to the toilet.
The power of each of us is small, but together, it is a powerful force. Whenever we see someone send a circle of friends saying that someone is delivering food to the community in the early morning, unloading the car, and distributing, we feel extremely warm.
This warmth has gradually dispelled the anxiety in our hearts for several days! Then it converged into one belief: we must be able to survive!
Only through tribulations can we see a person clearly, and only after a disaster can we see a city and the people who live in it.
Xi'an, a thousand-year-old city, has never had such a quiet moment. The people of Xi'an have never been so united and friendly as they are at this moment! This is not to say that Xi'an people are not enthusiastic, but we are usually more introverted, but in the face of the virus, the essence of our kindness is reflected.
