The architects of teiknistofan tröð shaped the headquarters into a spacious building with ceiling heights varying greatly due to the sloping roof surface and carefully designed so that each room had a proper acoustic effect. The ground floor is open to the public and there is a café/cafeteria welcoming guests into the seating area on the north side and the balcony on the south side. On the west side next to the café, there are two carpentry and handicraft workshops. Walking to the center, the church stands with its high ceilings and is connected to a multi-purpose hall with folding walls. Meanwhile, a more private area occupies the east side with direct access to a consultant's office and lounge area for small group meetings. The upper floor has offices, several technical rooms, and a storage area.

The main structure was built with cast-in-place concrete, and the headquarters was covered with red fiber cement panels of different shades, giving it a unique personality that stands out in the area. In addition, the concrete structure is kept visible inside with a transparent surface coating, accompanied by linoleum flooring and a custom-designed fireproof spruce ceiling. According to local requirements, the building is properly heated due to geothermal water in the radiators, underfloor heating and façade insulation.
