Rolle Deng: Faced with Kobe Bryant, he scored 17 points in the first quarter The coach said I didn't give a chance if I didn't defend the second half

Live Bar December 30, 2019 Recently, former NBA player Rohr Deng recalled his experience with Kobe Bryant in the "The Rematch" program.

Luol Deng said: "When I first heard Kobe's name, I was still playing football, I was always a fan of Kobe... In the first quarter of that game, I scored 17 points in front of Kobe. At the end of the half we went into the dressing room and Scott Skyles (the Bulls manager at the time) was angry with me, he thought I wasn't defending, I guess he was just motivating me at the time and he felt like I only had points in my head and no defense. By the second half, I started the game, but he quickly replaced me, and I probably scored 19 points and Bryant probably scored 43 points (laughs). ”

Rolle Deng refers to a regular season game in 2004-05, where Deng scored 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting in the first quarter and scored 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists; Bryant played 45 minutes and had 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

In his NBA career, Rohr Deng averaged 34.4 minutes per game, with 14.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
