Pen and ink pass on the ancient rhyme, calligraphy and painting show the spirit. On December 30, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of the University Students Art Exchange Center and the first calligraphy and painting exhibition of the Guizhou Branch of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, sponsored by Guiyang Institute of Information Technology and Guizhou Branch of China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, were held at Yangming College, Gui'an University.
Since its establishment, the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting has been invited to organize the creation of "Divine Yunnan" calligraphy and painting, during which more than 30 giant screens and 100 paintings and calligraphy works reflecting the regional characteristics of Yunnan national customs have been created, which have been exhibited in the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center in Yunnan and the Shanghai World Expo in the same year. In the past 15 years, the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting has successively established more than 10 branches in Shanghai, Yunnan, Tibet, Qinghai and other places, and each painting academy has gathered nearly 1,000 professional calligraphy and painting artists.
"It is of great significance that the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting settled in Yangming College." Xiong Shihui, vice president of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and president of the Guizhou Branch, said that in the future, through the joint efforts of both sides, the Guiyang Yangming College Students Art Exchange Center will be built into a highland for carrying forward the spirit of the Chinese nation and inheriting traditional Chinese culture.
"Guiyang Information Technology College was originally Mingde College of Guizhou University, which has been established for nearly 20 years, currently has more than 15,000 students, 965 full-time teachers, an annual new student attendance rate of 97%, strong teachers, perfect teaching facilities, is approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to independently set up undergraduate level private ordinary colleges and universities, ranked 30th in the 2021 national independent college rankings, and ranked first in Guizhou comprehensive private universities." Tang Jianrong, president of Guiyang Institute of Information Technology, said that the Guizhou Branch of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting settled in Yangming College of Guiyang Information Technology College, aiming to integrate the advantages of Guizhou resources and the advantages of many artists in various branches of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, will create a distribution center for cultural and artistic exchanges, painting and cultural and artistic industrialization, and hope to establish a diversified cultural and artistic exchange hall integrating cultural and creative industries and education and training in the future.
