On November 8, according to the Pucheng County Intellectual Property Development Center, from January to September, the county applied for 400 patents, an increase of 68.07%, 212 patents authorized, an increase of 30.86%, of which 8 invention patents were authorized, 132 utility model patents were authorized, and 72 design patents were authorized; 90 effective invention patents in the county, and 3.0 invention patents per 10,000 people, ranking among the best in the city.

Since 2020, in order to vigorously cultivate high-value patents and comprehensively improve the ability of innovative entities to use intellectual property rights and comprehensive benefits, Pucheng County has attached great importance to intellectual property work, taken multiple measures to promote the construction of pilot counties of the national intellectual property strong county project, and promoted the effective integration of intellectual property rights with innovation resources, financial capital and industrial development.

The county has strengthened the publicity of intellectual property rights and improved the awareness rate through a series of activities such as "4.20-26 National Intellectual Property Activity Week", "5.12-19 Science and Technology Activity Week", "Science and Technology going to the Countryside", and "10.13-19 China Patent Week". At the same time, a series of publicity activities have been carried out, such as intellectual property laws and regulations and culture entering the countryside, using the Internet and new media platforms to publish intellectual property public service advertisements, cracking down on intellectual property infringement and the manufacture and sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods.

"A very important task is that we take the initiative to serve in the front, study and implement relevant patent incentive policies, and accurately and effectively guide the intellectual property declaration and authorization of various enterprises." Wu Lanying of Pucheng County Intellectual Property Development Center introduced that the county strives to do a good job in the review, summary and reporting of the patentee's application for incentive materials, and timely implements the relevant patent incentive policies. In the first half of this year, a number of technological innovation and brand creation enterprises in 2019 were commended, and 33 enterprises such as Chia Tai Biochemical, Lvkang Biochemical, and Shengxin Energy were awarded 17 inventions and 118 utility model patents authorized by 9 inventors (designs), and the amount of scientific and technological innovation awards was 719,000 yuan. Among them, Renhong Pharmaceutical & Chemical Co., Ltd. won the second prize of Nanping Patent for "a post-processing method for the synthesis of jasmonaldehyde intermediates"; Xinlongda, Puzhiyu, Ruixin Synthetic Leather and other three enterprises received a total of 169,000 patent pledge loan discounts.

In addition, the county has also actively cultivated provincial and municipal intellectual property advantage enterprises, and constantly innovated new mechanisms for intellectual property work. Innovatively carried out patent pledge loan business, using live intellectual property rights to help enterprises innovate and create. In 2019, 17 enterprises such as Chia Tai Biochemical and Yong aromatic materials used patent rights to pledge 249 million yuan of credit loans from Pucheng Construction Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China and Credit Union, and have obtained more than 1.6 million yuan of patent discounts. This year, Huate Synthetic Leather and Hongfa Engineering Company obtained 37.51 million yuan of credit loans from China Construction Bank and Postal Savings Bank with 4 utility models, which effectively alleviated the financial difficulties of enterprise development and helped enterprise development.
