Nanfang Daily News (Reporter/Tang Yin Shao Yihong Correspondent/Lin Yin, Gong Zhihai, Yang Changhong, Jiang Min) 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, and the South China Tiger twins come to celebrate New Year's Day. On January 1, the author learned from the Provincial Forestry Bureau and the Shaoguan South China Tiger Breeding Research Base that at 23:02 and 26 on December 31, 2021, the mother of the South China tiger "Dream Dream" successfully gave birth to two South China tiger cubs.

This is the second time in the year that the breeding research base has "welcomed new" after the two female tiger babies "Yuanyuan" and "Qingqing" were welcomed in March and September 2021. The birth of two South China tiger babies also set a record of "three births and four cubs a year". It is reported that the 2 tiger babies are both females, weighing the same, both 990 grams, and are currently in good condition.

South China tiger is a subspecies of China's endemic tiger, living in south-central China, is one of the world's top ten critically endangered species, belongs to the national first-class protected animals, there are only more than 200 remaining in the country, all of which are artificially raised.
