The 2021 event will be themed on Polish cinema, including the opening ceremony, expert seminar and three agendas of the Polish Film Festival, aiming to let Chinese filmmakers and film audiences know more about the film creation status and artistic trends in Poland in recent years, enhance the understanding and communication between Chinese and Polish filmmakers, and provide useful reference for Chinese film creation. Yan Shaofei, deputy secretary of the sub-party group and secretary general of the China Filmmakers Association, said that Foshan is the "golden bridge" for Sino-foreign film exchanges. In the past five years since the Southern Film and Television Center was settled, Foshan has vigorously developed the film and television industry with the construction of a more high-quality culture-oriented city as the starting point, and made every effort to create a film and television industry cooperation pilot zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, making the film and television industry one of the pillar industries of culture.
