It is reported that in order to implement the "Belt and Road" initiative, the China Federation of Literary and Art Film Art Center has hosted five consecutive sessions of international excellent film screening and exchange seminars from 2016 to 2020. The past five editions have screened films from India, Iran, Mexico, Russia, Romania and other countries.

The 2021 event will be themed on Polish cinema, including the opening ceremony, expert seminar and three agendas of the Polish Film Festival, aiming to let Chinese filmmakers and film audiences know more about the film creation status and artistic trends in Poland in recent years, enhance the understanding and communication between Chinese and Polish filmmakers, and provide useful reference for Chinese film creation. The event was guided by the China Filmmakers Association, sponsored by the Film Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, the Propaganda Department of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee, the Guangdong Filmmakers Association and the Guangdong Film Creation Training Base, and co-organized by the Review and Exchange Committee of the Guangdong Filmmakers Association.
