Each year, the New Year's Concert presents different forms of musical composition. Among them, the works of the Austrian Strauss family are indispensable repertoire at the annual New Year's Concert, and the 2022 New Year's Concert has staged four classic works such as "Egyptian March", "Thunder Polka", "Carefree Polka", "Spring Sound Round Dance" and so on.
In addition, there are excerpts from Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" such as "The Clown's Dance" and "Wedding March", "Mayira" based on Kazakh folk songs, and invited Liu Di, a young soprano of the China Opera and Dance Theatre, and Zhang Yin, a young pianist, to give wonderful performances to everyone.
