On February 7, 1987, the "Guizhou Daily" published the news I wrote on the second page, "'Wang Fool Roast Chicken' Applied for Trademark Registration", which stirred up thousands of waves and received widespread attention from the society. At that time, people only knew that there was a "fool melon seed" in Wuhu, Anhui Province, and many people did not know that the small Bijie Mountain City actually had the brand of "Wang Fool Roast Chicken". Originally, this was passed down by Wang Weirang, the founder of Wang Fool Roast Chicken, to his daughter-in-law Zhuo Guangfen, Zhuo Guangfen, as an individual industrial and commercial household, decided to apply to the Bijie County Industrial and Commercial Bureau for the protection of the brand of "Wang Silly Roast Chicken", requesting that "Wang Silly Roast Chicken" be applied for trademark registration, which marked the beginning of Bijie's individual industrial and commercial households using the law to maintain their own production of famous brands.
In fact, at that time, many commercial brands in the society were already popular. For example, to buy a sewing machine, you have to buy a Shanghai butterfly brand, when you buy a radio, you have to buy a red light brand, when you buy a bicycle, you have to buy a Phoenix brand, you have to buy toothpaste to buy a Chinese brand, and when you buy cigarettes, you have to buy "Huaxi" and "Huangguo Tree". However, there is a general lack of awareness of trademark brands and self-protection awareness.
At that time, the delicious things in Bijie City, I was most impressed by "Tang Family Tangyuan", "GaoJia Pot Kui", "Wang Jia Sausage Wang Noodles", "Kang Jia Crispy Whistle Noodles", "Yixin Yong Vinegar".

It was not until Zhuo Guangfen, the inheritor of the production of "Wang Fool Roast Chicken", applied for trademark registration for "Wang Fool Roast Chicken", felt that it was a very fresh thing, wrote a message that was adopted by newspapers and periodicals such as "Guizhou Daily" and "Bijie Bao", and was engaged in industrial and commercial administration work, and gradually had a new understanding of trademarks.

When did a trademark as a mark of goods start as early as possible, and it is difficult to find historical records. The lacquerware produced by Dafang during the Ming and Qing dynasties has been sold abroad, and the lacquerware produced by Dafang during the Daoguang years has appeared marked "Dading Lacquerware", "Baoguang Zhai", "Lishengguang", "Minsheng Brand" and so on. In the 30 years of Guangxu, Sands has applied for trademark registration of industrial products, such as "Fushengtong" bottled soy sauce and "Hong Yongshun" trade name packaging cakes are labeled. During the Republic of China period, "Bijiesheng Vinegar", "Xinqian Cigarette", "Three Zeros", "Cooperation", "Brother" Cigarettes in Qianxi, Jinsha Andi Cylinder Vinegar, Yuancun "Yizhai" Cellar Wine, Weining "Blazing Chang Matches", Dafang Lacquerware "Chaozhu Box", "Manchu Han Full Seat" and other goods have used trademarks.

After liberation, there were very few people who applied for trademark registration in Bijie, only 7 kinds of goods, such as "Jinsha Cellar Wine", "Bijie Daqu", "Jinsha Andi Vinegar", "Guihua Wine in Qianxi Province", "Weining Buckwheat Crisp", and "Dafang Fang Wine". After that, it stagnated until 1978, when the trademark "Wumeng Brand" of the refrigeration factory of Bijie Regional Food Company was applied for registration, and the two trademarks of "Red Magnolia" and "Cuiping Mountain" were exchanged. In 1979, the "Weaving Gold Medal" ink trademark of Weaving Gold was approved, and the "Bijie Brand" trademark of Bijie Distillery was registered as a trademark. At the same time, the trademarks applied for registration by Bijie District Hardware Company Bulb Factory, Bijie Distillery, Guixi Battery Factory, Guixi Fried Flour Factory, Hezhang County Distillery, and Zhijin County Stationery Factory were examined and approved by the relevant departments and agreed to perform the registration procedures. Later, with the continuous development of the market economy, the work of trademark application and registration has continued to progress steadily, and by 2005, there were 375 valid registered trademarks preserved in the whole region.

It is particularly worth mentioning that the Guancheng River in Bijie City, the Pouring Tianhe River, not only nourishes the people of Shancheng, but also breeds the Bijie County Winery (known as the Old Winery) on the riverside, the most famous brand of the winery is "Bijie Daqu", as well as "Lingfeng Daqu" and "Longtan Cellar", and then down the river to the park and a field of rice flowers, the "Liuxiang Spring Wine" and "Daoliu Village" produced by the Bijie Military Sub-district Distillery were once famous. Friends who like to smoke cigarettes, who will forget those brands of cigarettes produced by Bijie Cigarette Factory on the shore of Biyang Lake. In 1988, the production of "Wumeng Mountain", "Sea of Grass" (Green Grass Sea, Yellow Grass Sea), "Trick Lotte", "Jinbao Road", "Best", and "Red Apricot", "Chi Brand", "Sacred Flame" and "Jazz" produced in 1992 won the first Famous Trademark Award. Around 1995, the production of "Ocean" and "Chi brand special alcohol" was once extremely popular. Walking down the Inverted Tianhe River, in addition to the Bijie Thermal Power Plant in LiucangQiao, the "Bijie Cement" produced by the cement plant in the Bijie area diagonally opposite the power plant is also a well-known brand. Walking down the Inverted Tianhe River, to the side of the road next to the first step bridge of the Yachi Town and walking in the direction of the Pheasant River, is the well-known Bijie area fertilizer factory and the production of "Bijie Fertilizer", at that time, in addition to "Chitianhua", "Bijie Fertilizer" was a good brand in short supply.

At this point, I looked back at Bijie City. In those years, the layout of Bijie Industry from the air was an eagle-shaped structure, the two wings of the eagle, and the wings along the guiyang direction were all large enterprises such as electric power, tobacco factories, fertilizers, cement, etc. The eagle's mouth was just a sporadic sprinkle of gas stations and agricultural tool factories. The original workshop-type enterprises in the old city only have the oil umbrella rattan and bamboo factory on the ash pile slope, the textile factory, the dyeing and weaving factory under the three smalls, the carpentry factory on Box Street, the leather shoe factory on Tianhe Road, the tire factory on Weining Road, the machinery factory on Tianhe Road, and so on. The left wing of the eagle is laid out in the direction of Sichuan, the Slope of Dongguan is the Guizhou Cork Factory, at its feet is the Bijie Agricultural Tool Factory, and further in the direction of Wuliping is the Bijie County Oil Mill and the Bijie County Flour Mill. In the direction of Haizi Street, to Wuliping there are Bijie County sugar processing factories, tire factories, light bulb factories, carton factories, plastic products processing factories and so on. After entering the 1990s, with the in-depth advancement of the market economy, the state-owned enterprises in Bijie have been greatly developed, the township enterprises have sprung up, and the layout and development of enterprises around Bijie City are another scene.
