Tea fruit is a traditional tea dessert. Can it be referred to as a snack in a broad sense? Probably. I am a pure northeasterner, but maybe my family is too poor, in the Liaoning Provincial Museum Manchu folklore exhibition hall to see the Manchu traditional food, not to mention eating, is never seen.
Times have changed, and the traditional Northeastern cuisine on display has disappeared in the northeast. For example, bean juice, the whole world knows that it is a famous snack in Beijing, and people in the northeast do not drink bean juice. I still made a lot of efforts (because I heard that bean juice is very special and the average person can't accept it) to try it in Beijing. And, I think it's nice. Now when you go to Beijing, you always have to find a place to drink a bowl.
Now, the circulation industry is also developed, and it seems that nothing is limited to local areas, such as northeast rice, which is sold in supermarkets across the country. Candied fruit, also the whole country has ....
Try to think about it, there may be some southern friends who have not seen or eaten, such as hazelnuts and frozen autumn pears, these two things are easier to think of, too special I don't know. Hazelnuts are a kind of nut, Da Tieling specialty, adjacent to Shenyang are not produced; frozen autumn pears, I do not know what pears are raw materials, anyway, when listed is black and not slippery autumn, frozen Bangbang, only in the winter there are sold. Friends who travel to the northeast in winter can try it.
This article introduces the traditional tea fruits and large platters displayed in the Manchu Folklore Exhibition Hall of the Liaoning Provincial Museum.

Dried fruits and kanto sugar. Dried fruits are nothing more than dried fruits such as walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, melon seeds, chestnuts, lotus seeds, etc. If nothing else, hazelnuts are definitely a northeast specialty, and concentrated in northern Liaoning, a specialty of Datieling. There really isn't anywhere else.
Kanto sugar is a kind of sacrifice in the past When manchu families sacrificed stoves, it is a long strip of sugar sticks made of yellow rice and malt.
fruit. The more special ones are sour dates (wild kiwifruit), mushrooms, sand fruits, mountain red, sorghum fruits (also called goryeo fruits, smaller than strawberries), mountain cubes, daily and so on.
What guanwai people have definitely not seen is frozen autumn pear! When I was a child, my family had to buy frozen autumn pears. In winter, it is placed in a large vat outside, a natural large refrigerator. When eating, it needs to be taken to the house to slow (huan, that is, slowly), usually put in the water. The ice will "surface" from the inside out, wrapping a thick layer on the outside of the pear. The final fruit is soft. Slowly, do not rush to use hot water. Why, I don't know. Anyway, since I was a child, I have never seen anyone slow down with hot water. Probably, I think the hot water can only surface it, and the pear heart is still ice.
Frozen autumn pear skin is black, not slowed down like an ice hockey. However, very few teeth are good, and there are also those who like to bite directly into the mouth. One bite down, with ice ballast. Bad teeth, don't try!
Preserves, also known as preserved fruit. A food made with honey marinated from fruits and vegetables such as peaches, apricots, plums, dates, winter melons, ginger, etc.
Victory packs rice. Not only have I never eaten this, I haven't seen it. However, looking at this exhibit, it is a leaf wrapped in rice. Oh, tohoku rice is so delicious. When I was in school, many southern students who went to college in the northeast felt that the rice was so delicious that they didn't need to eat vegetables at the beginning.
Dessert. These two are yam and sweet potato balls. Pulling silk, you can pluck a lot of things, apples, sweet potatoes, bananas... back to sand, peanuts, taro is more.
Deli platter. Smoked sauce is a very traditional cooking method in the Northeast. In the era when there was no refrigerator, cooking food and salting it was a way to preserve food. Cooked food is also relatively easy to carry, hunting, fighting with a little.
Smoked sauce food ingredients are very extensive, meat, vegetables (as long as it is not leafy greens) is basically available.
Wild mountain vegetables. Toon, thorn sprouts, bracken, mountain celery, artemisia, ginseng, etc. Southerners are strange about northeasterners eating raw vegetables. I was amazed to see us stuff the lettuce directly into our mouths.
In fact, the diet of each place must be adapted to the local natural environment. We in the northeast eat cucumbers, lettuce, green onions, etc., which is definitely scientific. First of all, there are few parasites in the northeast, and all the bugs freeze to death in winter. Therefore, vegetables are not contaminated by parasites, and we do not have diseases caused by parasites such as schistosomiasis. It was safe for us to eat raw vegetables! Again, we had a long winter of more than six months. The vegetables eaten in winter are all cabbage and turnips that can be put away. But what vegetables are put in a winter, the vitamins are gone. We must quickly replenish vitamins with leafy greens for several months. Vitamins are abundant in leafy greens, but they are lost as long as they are heated. Raw, most tonic vitamins. Therefore, we eat raw vegetables, safe and scientific! Rest assured.
8 is milk tea and 9 is cheese. Neither of them had ever been drunk. I've only drunk bubble tea once or twice. Isn't cheese solid? Silly don't know!
10 bean juice, 11 horse milk wine, 12 oil tea. Bean juice, now beijing snack, northeast pour no. It should be taken by the Qing army into the customs. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it began to break into the Kanto region, changing the demographic structure of the northeast. Taking the current Northeast diet as an example, I think the Manchu diet is not large, and Liao cuisine is a branch of Lu cuisine, which is closer to Shandong cuisine. For example, the Li family, I am a native of the northeast, but my grandfather is a Shandong person who broke into the Kanto, my grandfather's family is from Hebei, my grandmother is a pure Manchu, and my grandmother died too early and did not know.
Therefore, what cheese, horse milk wine, and the meat dried introduced later, not only have not eaten, but also have not seen.
Dry the meat. Cut the meat into thin slices and air dry in the shade of the house. The finished product can be fried or used when making soup.
The museum "SandBox" for Manchu life, which is winemaking.
This is a flaming pig. I have seen the slaughter of pigs, I have seen the removal of hair, and now they are all poured with hot water and scraped with a scraper. This kind of fire has never been seen.
The rural courtyard reproduced here is also correct. We don't live in the courtyard. We northeasterners, as long as we are not particularly absent, absolutely live in the main room (due south and north). The son did not live in the box room when he got married, and lived in the upper and lower houses with his parents.
In the past, the city also had to accumulate sauerkraut. When I was a child, my family had to buy one or two thousand pounds of cabbage. After eleven, it is time to buy and store vegetables. After that, the daily work is to dry the cabbage. The other day was fine, it wasn't cold, and the cabbage could be spread flat all the time. But it's almost frost, and there's work to be done. The cabbage was laid out every morning, and in the evening it had to be re-stacked, and a broken blanket had to be put on to prevent freezing; the next morning it was spread out again. This work is basically mine.
Then, on a clear Sunday, it was time for the whole family to process the cabbage. I was still in charge of carrying, my mother was cleaning, cutting and plucking bad leaves, and my father was moving some vegetables into the cellar.
Northeast sauerkraut is a technical job, and not every housewife can accumulate sauerkraut. Someone, every accumulation will rot. After many failures, you have to ask your neighbors. The cabbage is still the cabbage, the jar is still the jar, the people accumulate it, and there is no reason! Too angry!
Haha, that's life. interesting!
