International Online Hubei News: On December 29, the 2022 Tropical Orchid Exhibition of Wuhan Botanical Garden was amazingly opened. This year's Orchid Exhibition exhibited tens of thousands of tropical orchids and national orchids, including more than 20 categories and more than 100 varieties. Hosted by Wuhan Botanical Garden and co-organized by Wujing Garden, the orchid exhibition will last until March 31, 2022.

This tropical orchid exhibition specially invited Liang Zi, a national first-class floral master, and Sun Yanxia, a first-class floral environment artist in Hubei Province, as the main designers. Taking nature as the creative medium, the designer abandons expensive and complex installation materials, takes natural materials such as branches, bark, vines, etc., integrates traditional and modern design concepts, and uses rich landscaping forms such as orchid garden art and orchid flower art to highlight the beauty of orchid shape, color and artistic conception. The exhibition emphasizes the romantic feelings of nature and conveys the concept of green environmental protection and love for nature.
The exhibition is divided into three areas: floral art area, competition area and science popularization area. Through the artistic integration of three different disciplines of architecture art, floral design and plant combination landscaping, the Floral Art District presents an orchid art with a great oriental Zen and modern style. The competition area uses the techniques of scenery, frame view, and scenery borrowing to create 9 beautiful orchid garden art sketches, and through the careful layout of the landscape corridor, landscape pool and aerial landscape, create a variety of flower landscapes with overlapping shadows and flowers, creating an immersive flower viewing experience. The science popularization area exhibited orchid native species and excellent horticultural varieties, restored the native environment of orchids, and demonstrated the biodiversity of orchids.

Chen Changli, science popularization publicity commissioner of Wuhan Botanical Garden, said that on the basis of the past, this year's floral works have been added to show orchid art through the techniques of traditional Chinese floral art and modern floral art. This year's Tropical Orchid Exhibition showcases 60 pots of precious national orchids, including seven strains of Chunlan, Huilan and Jianlan, with an exhibition time limit of 6 days from the opening day to January 3.
