Suzhou Renmin Road runs from the intersection of Jinbuk Road and Brocade Road in the north to the intersection of Nanhuan East Road and Nanhuan West Road in the south. It is 10.5 km long and 40 m wide.
Renmin Road is not only a main road in suzhou's old town, but also a node that cannot be circumvented in every Suzhou life journey, no matter what your wishes, Renmin Road will always be an important road in your life.
Thinking about the blind three words and four small Tatsumi's perception of renmin road. When I was a child, the concept of Renmin Road was from the railway station to the People's Bridge.
Today, I will talk about the mouth of Renmin Road, Dajing Lane, and my memories when I was a child.

People's Road
On the right hand side of Dajing Lane is the store department of the Post and Telecommunications Bureau; on the left hand side, the Suzhou Antique Book Shop, which used to be Zhu Hongxing; opposite is Yiyuan, yiyuan right next door what shop can not remember, next door to the left is a tobacco sugar shop, next door to the tobacco sugar shop is a big cake shop.
Zhu Hongxing's noodles are delicious, "lao li eight mornings" will know, go in to eat the most bowl of Yangchun noodles; Yiyuan wants to ticket only once or twice. The fritters in the flatbread shop are not selling well, and the flatbread is quite delicious. The candy shop is supposed to be out of line with me, and I have the impression that I often see a man leaning on a wooden counter, drinking a small cannon cane (two halves of liquor) empty mouth, feeling like a contemporary version of Kong Yiji, so I look at it twice. The places with the most trips to visit are the post and telecommunications office store and the antique book store, in order to collect stamps and write well.
The store department of the Renmin Road Post and Telecommunications Bureau may be the earliest philatelic place in Suzhou, when the shadow of the Antique Market of the Temple of Literature was not yet there.
On the second side of the flower bed about ten meters outside the store department, three or five people were scattered in a bunch of strings, some squatting, and the newspapers were spread out on the ground, and the newspapers were unfolding stamp books; some philatelic book stalls were open on the small arms, holding them with five fingers; trading exchanges and trading were carried out.

In those days, I collected the old tickets on the letters of my family, relatives and relatives, and next-door neighbors, and actually installed three major philatelic books, and I bought new tickets at the Postal Outlet Department, and commemorative and special packages could only be bought selectively. The new tickets are finally integrated. Holding the four major philatelic books, they also joined the philatelic team of buying, selling and exchanging. It's just that there are very few people who understand me, and sometimes people rummag through my collection and smile and walk away.
Gradually, I cleared up, just my four stamps, can not be exchanged for a "treasure", I am a local layman. As far as my financial resources and energy are not qualified to enter the philatelic threshold, I am not interested in playing.

To this day, I am still a little white man with knowledge about philately. However, I have also insisted on philately for several years, but anyone who walks through the post office store department will go around, and in the first two years of work, I also bought a lot of commemorative stamps and special stamps, and the maximum number of stamps was five philatelic copies. Now that the five philatelic books are scattered somewhere, I think there is a sense of loss, not for the value of the stamps, but for the green years I witnessed in a daze.
Go to the old book store to read the Fa Ti. At that time, I practiced brush writing every morning, and I didn't want to become a calligrapher, I wanted to be able to write a beautiful brush character.
Perhaps, writing brush words must have child skills, and someone must click, and it is difficult to become a tool without the two. I don't know if I was born stupid or less of these two, but also if I have been practicing brush characters intermittently for nearly five years, I still can't understand where a word is good. When I think about it, I often think about classifying myself as a low-energy team.
The old book store in my mind has four rooms, and there is a counter dedicated to displaying inscription books. At that time, I had plans to read through and familiarize the calligraphy and various fonts of famous artists since ancient times.
Now the old book shop on Renmin Road
At that time, the old bookstore hall had been empty every day, and there were always more clerks than customers, and the clerks were all kind and elegant, and I only looked at them and never half gossiped.
A few years later, I learned that there were many talents in the old bookstores at that time, and that Mr. Jiang Chengbo and the calligrapher Tan Yiwen of Wenshanfang were both working in the bookstore and had a relationship with me, and if I had asked them for advice, I would not have despised myself in calligraphy to this day.
The memory of stamp collecting and calligraphy gradually became a shadow. There is one picture that is still clear.
At that time, there was a paralyzed man in Suzhou, a Malaysian overseas Chinese genus, and people who probably lived near Guanqian would have an impression. At that time, it was not long after the opening, but whenever it was mentioned abroad, it was as if gold could be picked up on the roads abroad, and the streets were full of banknotes, and the thickness was knee-deep. At that time, overseas Chinese and high-ranking cadres were the most energetic.
This paralyzed man has to go to Yiyuan garden every day to drink tea. The paralyzed man sat in a wheelchair car wearing sunglasses, someone pushing behind him, at least five or six people surrounded in front and back, all of them with long hair, all of them swept the floor with white flared pants, and one of them carried a tape recorder as large as a small leather suitcase, and the tape recorder came with Teresa Teng's sweet singing...
