"The congress of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles has put the ardent hope of the general secretary and the deployment of the central authorities into a work report." Liu Guangyu introduced that the report uses three major parts and 20 aspects to guide the ideology, past work, and future planning, and inspire literary and artistic artists to strive for the tide of the times with a volume of 36 pages.

Liu Guangyu introduced that in recent years, the Chongqing Municipal Opera House and the Chongqing Symphony Orchestra have launched a series of literary and artistic works such as the opera "The Dust Has Settled", "A River of Clear Water Flows East" and the symphony "Chongqing Suite", and recently he has been thinking about how to better promote these works to the whole country.

National opera "Dust Settled" is adapted from the eponymous work of the Mao Dun Literature Award of Alai, since the novel came out in 1998, it has been put on the stage of Sichuan opera and dance drama, and the national opera launched by the Chongqing Opera House at the end of 2018 is the first time to use the art form of opera to interpret it, and since its premiere in 2018, it has been widely praised by all walks of life and won a number of national awards. "Dust Settled", which has been performed more than 40 times this year, is the 12th draft version since its inception, and many details have been improved in terms of ideology and artistry.

In 2021, the play won the Cao Yu Script Award, the highest award in Chinese dramatic literature, the Best Repertoire Award and the Best Screenplay Award of the Sixth National Ethnic Minority Literary and Art Festival, and recently appeared at the 4th China Opera Festival and won the Excellent Repertoire Award.

It is a responsibility to create an opera with realistic themes

After the premiere of "Dust Settled", it was deeply loved by the majority of the audience, and the industry also gave a high degree of recognition and evaluation, and recently the Municipal Opera House also held a symposium to invite leaders and experts from municipal departments and performance theaters to not only take the pulse of the work again, but also provide suggestions for the promotion of excellent literary and artistic works of "Made in Chongqing".

Liu Guangyu said that in the future, in addition to the classic version, "Dust Settled" will also launch a resident version, "just in our small theater performance, there are touring versions, concert versions, story meeting versions, and lecture-style versions, a few actors to the community to find a table, with a guitar he can let the people appreciate the elegant art." ”

In his speech, the general secretary proposed, "The vast number of literary and art workers must keep up with the pace of the times ... Extract themes and extract themes from the changes of the times, the progress of China, and the cries of the people." Created and premiered by the Municipal Opera House on October 15 this year, "A River of Clear Water Flows Eastward" is China's first opera created with the theme of the construction of ecological civilization on the Yangtze River, telling the story of "River Chief" Xie Jiang and his daughter who devoted themselves to ecological governance actions.

"Chongqing is a famous city of mountains and rivers, a beautiful place, and plays an exemplary role in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, using 'a river of clear water flowing east' as the theme to tell the problem of ecological civilization around the Yangtze River, in the final analysis, it is also a survival problem that is closely related to each of our citizens." As the artistic director of the play, Liu Guangyu said, "For more than twenty years, we have been exploring and creating, but also putting pressure on ourselves, I sometimes say that doing opera is actually competing with ourselves, because the creation is very difficult, involving many categories, huge personnel, especially realistic themes, but even the 'hard bones' have to be gnawed, which is the responsibility of literary and art workers." ”
