The "Tribute to Playwrights" campaign aims to return to the origin of theatrical art, introduce the artistic achievements of the outstanding playwrights who are still alive to the current audience in the form of performances, drama readings, symposiums, salons, exhibitions, etc., and discover more outstanding drama works that have not been officially put on the stage, or even published or read aloud. "Tribute to The Playwright 2021" will feature two of He Jiping's works. One of the first reading plays, "Kaishi Daji", directed by young director Jiang Jun, was staged at the Juyin Theater on December 25 and 26, which is ironic and humorous, with continuous laughter and enthusiastic response. Another work, "Smoke and Rain Red Boat", directed by young director Huo Xin, will be staged on January 1 and 2, 2022 at the Juyin Theater.
