Although the epidemic has not stopped, the performances of the Fuhui Children's Art Theater have not decreased this year, and a new theatrical style, "picture book drama", has mushroomed and thrived.
The title of "picture book drama" is full of children's fun, and the content includes ideal inspirational, warm and caring, rural city style, popular science knowledge, edutainment, and fun. The stage is simple and flexible, and the image is vivid and exaggerated. A play consists of three small plays, which last more than an hour and are very popular. The audience is mostly preschool children, accompanied by parents, and enjoy watching with relish. After watching several consecutive series of picture book drama performances, I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity, imagination and expressiveness of the children's art picture book drama performance team under the leadership of Dean Cai Jinping, and felt that they had the courage and wisdom of "moss flowers are as small as rice, but also learn peonies to open".
The picture book drama puts the flat picture book story on the three-dimensional stage, so that the characters in the picture book become vivid stage images, and gives the silent painting text a colorful action expression. This is an attempt to cooperate with Zhongfuhui Publishing House, which has opened up a new field for children's drama creation.
These plays are composed by zhang jing in a large number of picture books provided by Zhongfuhui Publishing House according to content, theme, genre and style. For example, a recently launched picture book drama of popular science knowledge is composed of three small dramas that integrate knowledge, ideology and interest: "Little Yellow, Little Red and Little Green" uses the anthropomorphic role image of the three brothers of yellow, red and green to teach children to understand the meaning of the three safety symbols that can be seen everywhere in life and the danger of violating the instructions of yellow and red logos. "Teeth" is more interesting, writing that a Shanghai chick wants to find her grandfather to teach her how to throw her newly lost lower front teeth on the roof, walking through the old lanes that are about to be demolished, showing the style of Shanghai's old town, the neighborly relationship like a family, and full of expectations for urban development and new life.
The creative team of the picture book drama series of Zhongfu Huiyi is a light horse team. Five or six people, seven or eight boxes, loaded with costumes and homemade props, a projection slide machine, simple sound and lighting equipment, and a few cloth curtains, you can go. Actors are also stage crews, who have to move the scene and control props, while directors, stage supervisors, and installation personnel have to play roles on stage when necessary. Picture book performances do not have high requirements for the venue, and the playgrounds of primary schools and kindergartens, conference rooms, and community activity rooms can be performed as long as they can be energized. At present, basic education is implementing "double reduction", the demand for children's dramas is very high, and the creation and performance of the "picture book drama" series will become more and more prosperous, and the prospects are promising.
