Liverpool pulled the score to a 3-3 draw at the last minute of the match against Leicester City on Wednesday night, before eliminating their opponents through penalties to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup.
The Reds made ten adjustments compared to Sunday's draw with Tottenham, with Jamie Vardy scoring twice to give the Blue Foxes a lead in the first half, 2-0.
But it didn't happen after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain pulled a goal back for the Reds, while James Maddison scored Leicester's third goal in the 33rd minute.
In the second half, Jurgen Klopp made three adjustments and in the 68th minute Diogo Jota pulled back another goal for the Reds.
When the regular season entered the fifth minute of injury time, Takumi Minamino changed the score to 3-3 and entered the penalty shootout.
In the penalty shootout, Klopp's team reached the final four with a 5-4 victory.
