Barca are currently working on purging a number of players next week, with Luke De Jong's departure already making good progress. However, the player himself is still hesitating, he wants to join a team that he is more interested in, but it now seems very difficult.

Luke De Jong has already spoken to Barca executives and knows he won't get even a minute of playing time if he stays. Cadiz desperately needed a goalscorer with good standards and thanks to the good relationship between the two clubs, everything became easier.
