From December 24, 2021 to February 16, 2022, the 2022 Happy Coast Super New Year Art Project created the "New Realm of Light" light and shadow theme works unveiled on the Happy Coast, using light as the medium to integrate light and shadow with technology, environmental art, dance and other art forms, encounter the wonderful night of light and shadow art, and feel the symbiotic charm of all things.
The light and shadow artwork "Tree Projection -Landscape" created by Spanish painter and media artist Javier Riera uses the natural landscape of the waterside groves on the Happy Coast to intervene in the space and time of the landscape with outdoor projection, and in the form of artificial geometric superposition, between the interlacing of light and shadow and the undulations of the trees, it shows the geometric beauty of the tree landscape and evokes people's artistic imagination between nature and geometry.
Javier Riera's work focuses on geometric projection of trees and landscapes, with a meditative temperament. "Tree Projection - Landscape" is Javier Riera's debut in China, breaking through the boundaries of the art collision, full of expectations and imagination.
By the Media Arts team in Shanghai, China; The light and shadow artwork "Sound Prism" created by C (SemicolonC) is scattered in space to form a field, creating a digital visual feast with the cyclic stacking of abstract geometry, and exploring the relationship between the process of information translation and time in the flow of light and shadow. The massive amount of information scrolling on the screen makes people wonder what meaning the "information" under the torrent of the times has given to life in the passage of time, and how we should get along with it.

The light and shadow theme event specially invited Zhang Yashu, chief dancer of Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre and national first-class actor, to compose the immersive musical sitcom "Aftersound Around the Beam" with lyrical, rock, jazz, song and dance, performance and other diversified performing arts forms, create and choreograph the double dance "Water Mist" in the form of modern dance and contact improvisation, and create and choreograph the dance "52 Hz Whale" with modern dance combined with physical elements, and the performers dance and sing between the light and shadow art installations of "Hao Night Dream" on the Happy Coast, interpreting the humanistic charm of art empowerment technology.
