Live on December 24, 2019 Football's richest player, Faik Borgia, terminated his contract with Portuguese Premier League side Marítimo on December 18. Borgia found a new club today after leaving the former club nearly a week after leaving the mirror, and he will continue his career in Thai Premier League side Chonburi.

The 23-year-old Borgia has previously played for Chelsea and Leicester City youth teams; he has played for Leicester City U19 in the UEFA Youth League with Blue Fox midfielder Barnes and Hall.

Borgia, the nephew of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Borgia, is said to be worth 15 billion euros and the player himself has long been considered the world's richest footballer.

Chonburi is currently third in the Thai Premier League and after 15 rounds there is currently a four-point gap between league leaders Buriram United.
