At the third Daliangshan International Drama Festival held in Xichang City, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, Ziza and his companions starred in the original song collection "Catch the Set" and was praised as the most Liangshan regional characteristics.

Zizha is an actress in the Liangshan Colorful Yunxia Song and Dance Troupe, she was born in a remote mountain village in Butuo County, the hinterland of Liangshan. She did not go to school, but because of her naturally good voice, at the age of 12, she came to prominence in her hometown of "Dolohe", a form of song and dance performed by women's collectives at the Liangshan Yi "Torch Festival"). She left home when she was 16 and walked 6 hours up the mountain to the county seat. Under the recommendation of the local cultural department, she came to the state capital Xichang to break into the world, and successively joined the Liangshan Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe and the Liangshan Colorful Cloud Xia Song and Dance Troupe.

When he first arrived in Xichang, the capital of the prefecture, Zizha did not know Chinese and did not understand the dialects of other Yi friends. Through years of diligent study and hard work, Zizha gradually gained a foothold in the city. She followed the song and dance troupe, went to Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities, and also went to Canada... It was a faraway place that the women of Daliangshan had unimaginably in the past.

Becoming an actor, Let Ziza completely get rid of the fate of marrying early and being with the fire all day long. Her storied experience also inspired the playwright. In 2020, Li Ting, a national first-class screenwriter, used her as a model for the opera "Hearing Soma" to portray a woman who fought against fate. Zizha starred in the play, and when each scene was turned, she used a high voice to make a narrative chant.

Art has changed the fate of the individual and quietly changed the appearance of a region.

Li Ting spent her entire youth in Liangshan, and the older generation of artists of the Liangshan Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe and Drama Troupe were her enlightenment teachers. "Liangshan has nurtured me as a teenager, and I also hope to use drama to do something for here."

In 2019, under the planning and promotion of 25 Chinese and foreign artists and cultural scholars such as Pu Cunxin, Liao Changyong, Ji Di Majia, Alai, etc., the "Daliangshan International Drama Festival" came into being. Since then, "going to Liangshan to see a play" has become another reason for people to go to Liangshan in winter.

"Over the past few years, the great changes that have taken place in Liangshan have brought inexhaustible creative inspiration to artists, from "Hearing Soma" and "Yi Hong" to the symphonic concert "Warm Mountains", which burst out of exuberant creativity. Holding a drama festival here can let Liangshan see the world and let the world pay attention to Liangshan. Liu Kang, chairman of Liangshan Cultural Tourism Group, the organizer of the Daliangshan International Drama Festival, said.

Zhao Fei, a citizen of Xichang, still remembers the grand occasion of the first drama festival - never seen so many artists in the city, drama has become a topic of people's mouths, and the urban temperament has become unprecedented "literature and art".

This year, the third Daliangshan International Drama Festival was held online and offline.

"The reason why we insist on it is because we hope to continue to incubate and cultivate drama festivals, explore a new path for the integration of culture and tourism development for Liangshan to get out of poverty, and use literature and art to help rural revitalization." The land nourishes art, and art gives back to the land. Liu Kang said.

Ziza, who has already lived in the city, and her companions now often return to the fields to collect folk songs, saying that art has realized her dream of "not living like her mother and grandmother for a lifetime", and she also hopes to teach the art of the Yi people to more people, so that more women in Liangshan can straighten their waists and live a better life.
