The first national standardized metabolic disease management center in northern Guangdong settled in Qingxin

On December 22, the "National Standardized Metabolic Disease Management Center (MMC)" of the Department of Endocrinology of Qingxin District People's Hospital was officially inaugurated. After completing the enrollment management of the first batch of 200 patients and passing the quality control of the National General Center, the hospital MMC successfully became the first regional national standardized metabolic disease management center in northern Guangdong.

The author learned that three national epidemiological surveys in the past decade have shown that the prevalence of adult diabetes in China is about 11%, and the prediabetes have reached 35.7-50.1%.
