China's display technology field ushered in a highlight moment. On the afternoon of December 21, BOE (BOE) officially released the first technology brand in the field of semiconductor display in China. BOE brought high-end liquid crystal display technology ADS Pro, high-end flexible display technology f-OLED and high-end glass-based new LED display technology α-MLED three major technology brand system and logo debut.

Chen Yanshun, chairman of BOE, said that the launch of display technology brands in China's semiconductor industry has led to the integration of display technology brands with emerging technologies such as 5G communications, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, and in-depth subdivision of scenarios through different forms of intelligent terminal devices.

Liu Xiaodong, president of BOE, specifically interpreted that the release of BOE's display technology brand is a concentrated embodiment of the achievements of scientific and technological innovation over the years. Among them, the ADS Pro sub-brand represents BOE's unique high-end LCD technology solution, with full viewing angle, ultra-high refresh rate and other advantages, bringing more realistic picture quality and smooth experience;

The f-OLED sub-brand represents BOE's unique high-end flexible OLED technology solution, which has the advantages of brilliant colors, changeable forms and high degree of functional integration, bringing users an immersive fashion experience anytime and anywhere;

α-MLED sub-brand represents the new glass-based LED display system and solution pioneered by BOE, with ultra-high brightness, ultra-high contrast, ultra-wide color gamut and extremely low stroboscopic, etc., presenting users with an immersive experience of all scenarios.

"The release of the display technology brand has driven the overall innovation of the industry and driven the entire industry to move forward more quickly and healthily." Ouyang Zhongcan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said.

At the press conference, BOE also comprehensively displayed the latest achievements of ADS Pro, f-OLED, α-MLED. Among them, in the ADS Pro exhibition area, a 21.6-inch 4K curved display caught the audience's attention, the product can cater to the technical needs of many car manufacturers for environmentally friendly cockpits; five global first products based on ADS pro technology have also attracted attention, including 75-inch 8K 288Hz display, 110-inch 8K naked-eye 3D display terminal, 14-inch health eye care notebook products, etc. According to reports, BOE's world premiere 75-inch 8K 288Hz display is equipped with BOE's own zhen screen, super-division multiplier technology and the latest research and development of ink crystal lyrechrome technology.

At present, AOC, Skyworth, Hisense, Lenovo, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi and many other domestic and foreign brand customers have joined hands with BOE to jointly promote the landing of technology brands. At present, every four intelligent display terminals in the world have a display from BOE, and the performance report shows that in the first three quarters of 2021, BOE's revenue reached 163.278 billion yuan, an increase of 72% year-on-year.
