On December 21, Beijing time, the 2021 World Short Course Swimming Championships continued in Abu Dhabi. Tang Qianting, who won the gold medal in the women's 100m breaststroke, not only won the world championship title for the first time in her sports career, but also made her supervisor coach Zheng Shan a world champion coach.

Zheng Shan is currently recognized by the Chinese swimming team as one of the most capable breaststroke coaches, and even Wang Shun, who specializes in medley, has "learned" from her to improve her weakest breaststroke in the four swimming styles, and Tang Qianting has been optimistic about becoming China's future female frog king from the beginning of her debut. One talented, one capable, under the coordination of the swimming center, Tang Qianting officially entered Zheng Shan's door in October last year. Just 14 months later, Tang Qianting has cashed in on her talent, winning the women's 100m butterfly championship at the Short Pool World Championships and becoming China's new "female frog king". And Zheng Shan, who has long been famous in the world, has finally become a world champion coach after experiencing ups and downs.
Speaking of Zheng Shan, we have to say that another of her beloved apprentices, Yan Zibei, the "male frog king" in active Service in China. After winning the silver medal in the men's and women's 4X100m medley relay at the Tokyo Olympics, he burst into tears and cried out that "it is a pity that he did not let the coach become the olympic champion coach" still remains in the minds of swimmers. There are many Female Swimming Olympic Champions and World Champions in China, but there are very few female swimming coaches, and even fewer can serve as the head coach of the national team, and Zheng Shan is undoubtedly the most representative of them. In order to improve her coaching level, Zheng Shan definitely has to work harder. After the 2016 Swimming Asian Championships, Zheng Shan deeply felt the gap between Chinese men's breaststroke and Japan, personally found the swimming coach of Waseda University to request training together, and then took his disciple Yan Zibei and the two to Japan to study alone, which led to the latter surpassing the Japanese team and becoming the "first person" in Asian men's 100m breaststroke. Tang Qianting and Yan Zibei will continue to work hard in Paris three years later in order to make her mentor Zheng Shan the coach of the Olympic champion.
