On the 19th, with the official conclusion of the 7th China Changchun University Student Snow Sculpture Competition of "Ice and Snow Edge Sculpture Love", 21 exquisite snow sculpture works were officially unveiled in the Changchun World Sculpture Park, and tourists can visit carefully and feast their eyes.

The 21 snow sculptures are distributed near the Peace Square, and each work has a distinct theme, each with its own characteristics and vivid appearance. Among them, "Five Blessings for the Winter Olympics" closely follows the theme of the Winter Olympics and the upcoming Year of the Tiger, and carves out five tigers singing and dancing, happy and happy scenes, in order to welcome the Winter Olympics, sing the praises of the world, and the shape of each tiger looks very cute. The live snow sculpture "Tiger Tiger Shengwei" looks very playful, carving a relatively fat tiger, it sits there lazily, with its eyes closed, its mouth open, revealing its sharp teeth, this tiger looks not only not frightening, but also very likeable.
The snow sculpture "A Hundred Years of Journey" reflects the brilliant achievements of the Communist Party of China in the past hundred years through elements such as red boats and party flags, and through works of art such as snow sculptures, it shows the significance of patriotic education and revolutionary traditional education.
The on-site snow sculpture works attract many tourists to watch. "I just looked around, and most of the works are displayed with the themes of the Year of the Tiger and the Winter Olympics, and the anti-epidemic elements also run through it. I feel that each piece is quite beautiful, especially these carved tigers, which look very cute! Tourist Mr. Zhang said.
According to reports, since the collection of works in the snow sculpture competition, it has received a positive response from college students and ice and snow enthusiasts, and a total of 171 creative plans from 115 teams have been collected. In order to ensure the professional quality and artistic appreciation of the exhibited works, the organizing committee invited experts to strictly control the selection of 26 groups of entries, while only 21 works were carved out due to the impact of the fight against the epidemic and other factors. 21 works won the first, second and third prizes and finalists respectively.
"This year's college student snow sculpture competition has a smaller number of works than in previous years, and the contestants also encountered some difficulties in carving, affected by the high temperature in the past few days, some of the snow created was of average quality, but the contestants still completed the work well."
