Shi Shucheng is a famous pianist and conductor in China, the first batch of "first-class actors" in China, who studied under Professors Wang Hezhen and Li Changsun, and held a piano recital at the age of sixteen. Over the years, Shi Shucheng has been working and conducting in the front line of the top national symphony orchestras, contributing to the development and prosperity of Chinese symphony music. Shi Shucheng was one of the creative members of the piano concerto "Yellow River", which was revised as necessary in 1989 under the designation of the Central Orchestra, and the recording of this piece, which he also played as a soloist and conductor, was praised by overseas critics as "the most outstanding and authoritative interpretation". Shi Shucheng has held more than 1,000 concerts at home and abroad, footprints in more than 100 cities in dozens of countries, played or conducted a large number of different types of Chinese and foreign music masterpieces, including cooperation with internationally renowned soloists, conductors, symphony orchestras, and recorded and published many different types of audio-visual products at home and abroad.
