#你第一次创业年龄多大 #
My friend Lao Wu recently prepared to quit naked to start a business, he used to work at a red wine sales company for many years.
This year, Lao Wu is 40 years old, and he feels more and more that it is not interesting to work in a company, so he has the idea of starting a business.
In fact, he had a similar idea when he first graduated from college, but due to lack of experience, he has not put it into practice. Now that we have reached the age of confusion, can we still go out and start a business?
I started my business two years ago, and Lao Wu very much wanted to communicate with me about this matter and listen to some of my views. In this regard, my personal views are mainly in the following three aspects.

For the matter of entrepreneurship, I think there is no specific age limit, of course, most entrepreneurs will not do this in old age, after all, physical strength, energy are not too concerned.
At the age of young adults, they can generally consider starting a business.
Don't look at age, but the timing still has to pay attention to. For example, when Lao Wu graduated that year, there was no money, no business resources, just full of enthusiasm to start a business, and the probability of failure was still large.
However, some college students have a good plan and research on entrepreneurial projects very early on, and have accumulated certain resources, so it is completely no problem for these people to start a business after graduation.
One of my college classmates at that time started a business after graduation and has been very successful.
On the other hand, when the age reaches middle age, as long as the time is ripe, entrepreneurship is also a good choice. Just like I did at that time, with good professional accumulation and business resources, I resolutely chose to start a business and started a relatively smooth start.
For entrepreneurs, whether they can earn the first pot of gold may not be the most critical. More importantly, whether the entrepreneur can bear a certain level of risk.
For example, when I started a business, I had made a full assessment with my partners, because it was a light asset investment, and our worst situation was that we didn't make any money at all in the first year, and even lost money on the investment.
We consider ourselves acceptable for such a result, although we do not want it to be.
With such psychological preparation, in the follow-up entrepreneurial process, we have progressed relatively smoothly, perhaps because we have shaken off the burden of thinking and been able to boldly practice our own ideas.
And I also have some entrepreneurs around me, before the start of the business personal ideal is relatively grand, but there is not enough sense of risk, and when the entrepreneurial encounters setbacks, there is an abnormal mentality in the psychology, it is difficult to continue to practice a good career.
The above analysis can be seen that when the age is younger, it is often psychologically immature and generally has a better psychological quality, which is a few years after embarking on social work, which also explains why many successful entrepreneurs start their careers after the age of 30.
So, for middle-aged people in the workplace, when they come out to start a business at the age of thirty or forty, is there anything to pay attention to?
Combined with my personal experience, here are a few suggestions:
First, do a project that you are good at or familiar with.
If the project is very unfamiliar, it is not recommended to easily intervene, even if you think that the project belongs to the outlet.
Middle-aged people are not as flexible as young people, and it is better to be safe.
Second, make full use of your own network resources
Middle-aged people in the workplace for many years and then come out to start a business, the network resources are very powerful, which is also a point that can be fully utilized, which will bring a lot of help to the follow-up entrepreneurship.
Third, find the right partner
Middle-aged people tend to have more specialized career skills, such as sales, finance, or other aspects. But running a business is not enough to know one aspect.
Compared with the strong learning ability of young people, middle-aged people should understand the principle of "win-win cooperation".
When it comes to starting a business, I always feel that age is not the biggest issue.
Especially if middle-aged people in the workplace intend to start a business, the above three aspects need to be seriously considered and not to fight a battle that is not prepared.
Friends, what do you think of this?
