The xiaomi world mobile conference debut lived up to expectations
The appearance of Xiaomi Mi 5 has been affirmed by the internationally renowned media The verge.
The Verge said that as one of the leaders in the Chinese smartphone market, Xiaomi released its next-generation flagship smartphone , the Xiaomi 5 , for the first time at the world's largest mobile phone exhibition. Today, Xiaomi debuted on the mobile world congress stage, showing off the latest top Android smartphones in detail to prove its own strength to a global audience.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is a classic Android flagship phone, and the main selling point is its overwhelming specification datasheet. Xiaomi equipped the phone's Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB of large memory, Sony's new generation of 16-megapixel IMX298 camera and 128GB of ultra-large flash memory. The Xiaomi Mi 5 boasts incredible processing speed and performance, an ultra-light body, and a near-perfect, sophisticated design. The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15-inch 1080pIPS LCD display with virtually no condenser on either side and efficient use of space above and below. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is xiaomi's first phone to have a physical home button on the front and an integrated fingerprint reader. On the left and right are a pair of virtual buttons: the multitasking button on the left and the back button on the right. Xiaomi's Hugo Barra even set aside a little time at the phone launch event to highlight the Xiaomi Mi 5's "forehead" (space on the display) — a space smaller than Apple's iPhone or Samsung GalaxyS flagship.
You can also opt for the Exclusive Ceramic Edition.
In terms of exquisite and exquisite design, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is fully comparable to the newly released Samsung Galaxy S7 and LGG5 mobile phones. The Xiaomi Mi 5 curved back (the standard version is glass, the premium version is ceramic) is super comfortable to the touch, and the size is very suitable for one-handed operation. The phone weighs only 129 grams, and when used in the hand, it is like a cloud of paper. The lightweight body doesn't come at the expense of internal performance — the phone uses a 3,000 mAh battery, the same specs as Samsung's latest galaxy S7. The Xiaomi Mi 5 battery supports Qualcomm 3.0 fast charging and is said to have the highest energy density currently available.
Sapphire lens protection glass guards a 16-megapixel camera that works at lightning speed. While I wasn't particularly impressed by the image quality of the few photos I took, Xiaomi has released some highly sharp sample photos that I see as a "real flagship camera." This is mainly manifested in phase-sensitive detection autofocus, four-axis optical image stabilization (adding lateral – up/down and left/right – and rotation correction). The camera even comes with deep slot media isolation, as does the latest version of the iPhone camera. However, unlike apple or Samsung's flagship version, Xiaomi's camera is flat on the back of the phone, without the same drum bag as Apple and Samsung's cameras.
Xiaomi is gradually getting rid of the "China cottage machine" label
Speaking of the iPhone, it must be admitted that Xiaomi has indeed created its own mobile phone brand. Although Xiaomi was once considered to be a copy of Apple's products, it is now launching a truly unique smartphone for users around the world. (It's a completely unique phone today!) I did find the black and white version of the Xiaomi Mi 5's smooth glass to absorb light easily and stick to dust, but the Xiaomi Mi 5 did achieve the ultimate smoothness and refinement. I may not like the phone's miter edges too flashy, but that's just a nitpick. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is an amazing smartphone with a beautiful display that feels tight and thoughtful to the touch.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available in China from March 1, and is the first phone to actually use the Snapdragon 820 processor. Although the Xiaomi Mi 5 debuted late at mobile world congress, it turned out that it was all worth the wait. Especially when you learn about the price of the Xiaomi Mi 5, you will be even more convinced of it - the standard version of the Xiaomi Mi 5 is only $260, while the Premium Version of the Xiaomi Mi 5 with added RAM, storage and a ceramic back costs $350. With such a competitive price, such a beautiful design and ultra-high configuration, the only thing the Xiaomi Mi 5 needs to do at the moment is to enter the Western market. Xiaomi said that after China, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be released in India, and then turn to "other markets".
