Jiuquan, 14 Oct (China News Service) -- According to the news of the China Manned Space Engineering Office on 14 October, Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu will carry out the Shenzhou 13 manned mission, with Zhai Zhigang as the commander-in-chief. The China Manned Space Engineering Office announced the resumes of the three astronauts on the same day.
The three astronauts met with Chinese and foreign media reporters at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the afternoon of the same day. It is reported that Zhai Zhigang flew into space on Shenzhou 7 and was China's first astronaut out of the capsule; Wang Yaping will become the first female astronaut on the Chinese space station; and Ye Guangfu is the first to perform a flying mission.
On October 15, 2003, Zhai Zhigang participated in the first flight ceremony as an astronaut of the Shenzhou 5 echelon, from the debut of the "Shen V" to the soaring of the "Shen VII", and then to the upcoming core module of the space station, Zhai Zhigang said, I have prepared for the "Shen VII" mission, and now 13 years have passed since the last mission. In the past 13 years, the most difficult thing is not how difficult it is to train, nor how difficult it is to work, nor how difficult it is to learn, but how to do a simple thing well ten times and a hundred times with the highest standards and enthusiasm.
On the mission again, Wang Yaping, who was known as the "space teacher", said, "In fact, after the Shenzhou 10 space lesson, many students wrote to me to ask this question, when can I fly into space again to teach you another lesson." Today, I am very happy to tell you that after 8 years of unremitting efforts, Mr. Yaping has finally succeeded in pursuing his dream again, and is about to fly into space with the dreams and expectations of his classmates. Before flying, she most wanted to say to her classmates, "The dream of flying sky never loses weight, and the tension of scientific dreams is infinite." ”
As the second batch of astronauts, Ye Guangfu's first space mission lasted for 6 months. Ye Guangfu said that for this flight, he is very much looking forward to being able to feel the vast space from a new perspective, appreciate the beautiful planet we live on, and also hope to be able to enjoy the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.
The mission will also be the first time that Chinese astronauts have spent the Spring Festival in space. "Chinese New Year's Eve night, we will also keep the new year with everyone in the group of 3 people, and we will send the blessings from space to our motherland and send them to everyone at the first time." Wang Yaping said. (End)
