The forests of Stegia are treacherous and cold, but there is great wealth in them. Wild honey and marsh iron ore can be found here, but the real treasure has always been fur. For centuries, brave merchants ventured here to buy furs for foxes, rabbits and mink from forest tribes. As the empire expanded eastward, the influx of merchants changed from a trickle to a torrent. Many large towns arose along the river. Wealth seekers came from the coast and steppes, but mostly from the nord kingdom. Tribal elders formed alliances with newcomers, made vows with marriage vows, and used their trade profits to hire mercenaries to conquer other tribes. Stegia became an alliance of principalities, rather than a kingdom, and developed into a great power in the north.

The Stegians lived in a union of city-states known as Kievan Rus' in what is now Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Like many new cities, the cities on the banks of the Ross Attract people from far and wide. The Slavic-dominated community grew rapidly into many countries and introduced social institutions, religions, trade patterns and wars from its neighbours. Greek missionaries, Finn foresters, Turkic and Iranian steppe tribes, and most famously the Norse Valangians, have all left their mark on the aesthetic design of Russian art, weapons, and armor. Gold-plated pointed helmets, fur and thread brocade, runes and soul-catching beasts, and folk embroidery and Arabic motifs make up the theme and style of Sturgia equipment, which we believe will make it the most striking part of the game.
Like other factions, Sturgia's politics are inspired by history. Chroniclers were not shy about expressing their views on different kings. Some rulers, such as Grand Duke Vladimir or yaroslav the wise, have a reputation as far-sighted rulers. Other rulers, such as the "cursed" Sviatopolk accused of murdering his brother, or the Lich King Ofsheslav of Polotsk, are portrayed as tyrants who left a legacy in medieval Europe. The current King of Stezgia, Lagawad, is portrayed as the latter: he knows how to punish but does not know how to reward, and he will test the old adage that "it is better to be feared than to be loved.".
Early Rus' had a strong business ethic, with city-state people's assemblies or committees ensuring that merchants played an important role in state policy. Dangers and opportunities go hand in hand. A Muslim chronicler recalls how Ross's father showed the sword to the newborn boy and told him it would be his only legacy: the blade had to win all the remaining legacies. Although geographically far from Ross, Icelandic legends also inspired the Valangian ideals of efficient warfare and belligerent commerce, a society in which fathers would say, "Son, you have been lounging by the fire all winter." It's time to get up and prove that you can take part of the responsibility for your life. Plunder others to go. ”
The Rus employed cavalry and archers, but their early core strength was likely to be the formation of infantry, which was also the norwegian's specialty. We've been working on the more laborious close-ups from Mount and Blade. Watch out for high-level AI opponents slamming your teeth with their shields, then stabbing you in the ribs with a sharp blade. Well-trained infantry will be more likely to maintain formation and leave room for players in the party so you don't get squeezed too tightly by allies.
Now, the Nords are one of the most popular factions in Warband, and we know that many are fascinated by the Vikings — blood eagles, cremations on ships, and berserkers eager to attend Valhalla's banquet. Stegia was heavily influenced by Northern Europe, but it wasn't actually a Viking state: the Nord kingdoms disappeared from the map (at least for now), and they wouldn't really form the original feudal kingdom represented by the Bannerlord faction. However, if players want to have a West Scandinavian-style gameplay experience, Raids, Companions, Ring Swords, Two-Handed Axes, Valsgarde Helmets, Chainmails, and Crow Flags will all appear in the game. Skolderbroda, one of the small factions of Stegia, was a baltic (legendary) brotherhood of mercenaries of the Joms Vikings. Meanwhile, the Sons of the Forest represent the Finnish tribe, a semi-nomadic tribe that engages in temporary slash-and-burn farming activities deep in the forest. In any case, in this cold land full of deadly opportunities, players who want to win their legacy by force should encounter many allies and a large number of enemies.
