O'Sullivan ended a 16-month championship drought with a £100,000 Grand Prix prize money and finished third with £971,500, further narrowing the gap with the world's top two prize money.

Ninth-ranked Zhao Xintong is still the highest-ranked player in the Snooker Chinese Legion, but hawkins in tenth place is behind with a gap of more than 20,000 pounds.
