Recently, the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office issued the 1762nd "Trademark Announcement", and the "Yanjiang Honey Orange" geographical indication certification trademark in Yanjiang District, Ziyang City was successfully registered, which marked that another geographical indication certification trademark in Yanjiang District was approved and registered by the State Intellectual Property Office after the successful registration of the two geographical indication certification trademarks of "Yanjiang Zhonghe Crayfish" breeding and cooked food in Yanjiang District in 2020.

The reporter learned that during the registration period, the Yanjiang District Market Supervision Bureau actively followed up on the matters related to the "Yanjiang Mici" geographical indication certification trademark, guided the establishment of the "Yanjiang Honey Orange" group standard, and proposed that the landmark brand was not easy to obtain, and it needed to be particularly cherished and effectively activated, while paying attention to local publicity and quality control.

The "Yanjiang Honey Orange" geographical indication certification trademark will serve as a new "business card" of Yanjiang District, enhance the popularity of Yanjiang District, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the Yanjiang citrus industry.
