In order to warmly celebrate the May Publicity Month for the Disabled and the 30th National Day for the Disabled, on May 19, the Disabled Persons' Federation of the High-tech Zone and the Association of the Physically Handicapped in the High-tech Zone jointly launched the Disability Assistance Day activity at the Science and Technology Innovation Center of Nanchang High-tech Zone, and established the Wheelchair Running Group of the High-tech Zone.
Xie Xiaobao, director of the Social Development Bureau of the High-tech Zone, Wu Ting, deputy director of the High-tech Zone, Wang Leqiu, chairman of the Nanchang Limb Association, Fan Lingyun, chairman of the High-tech Zone Limb Association, the leader of the Nanchang City Wheel Running Group, Xie Junwu, the holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest distance for wheelchair double front wheel skating, and more than 20 disabled friends attended the event.
At the event, Xie Xiaobao, director of the Social Development Bureau of the High-tech Zone, and Wu Ting, deputy director of the High-tech Zone, respectively presented the flag, distributed team uniforms and souvenirs to the wheelchair running group of the high-tech zone, and Wang Leqiu, chairman of the Nanchang Municipal Limb Association, congratulated wang Leqiu. Director Xie Xiaobao fully affirmed the work carried out by the High-tech Zone Limb Association since its establishment last year, as well as the strong support for the work of the High-tech Zone Disabled Persons' Federation, and said that he would fully support the High-tech Zone Limb Association to carry out various forms of activities, continue to serve the majority of disabled friends, and encourage the disabled friends to work hard, and drive more disabled friends to enjoy the fun of running, strengthen their physique, and enjoy their body and mind.
Finally, the participants visited the High-tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition Hall to understand the layout of the high-tech industry platform, the development of scientific and technological innovation enterprises, the cultivation of high-tech talents in the high-tech zone, and feel the infinite charm of 5G technology, Internet of Things technology and big data industry and AI industry.
Through this disability day activity, the majority of disabled people can truly feel the care of the disabled people and the warmth of the social family of the disabled people's federation in our district, and also strengthen the interaction and mutual assistance of the disabled friends.
