The day before death, what were everyone doing?
Cruel and tender.
7 minutes and 21 seconds, 8442 deaths.
Death, it seems, has always been a taboo topic.
Even if you know that people die every day, no one dares to really face it.
Except for the old man who appeared in the news recently.
He is a famous Taiwanese sports anchor Fu Daren, who suffered from pancreatic cancer in his later years and was in pain, and finally chose euthanasia in Switzerland on June 7, 2018.
The final footage of Fu Daren before his death was also exposed recently, in which his family gathered around him and sang the last song for him. The old man sat gracefully in the middle, and before drinking the medicine, he smiled and said "goodbye".
Not long after drinking, he fell into his son's arms and died.
He may have been unfortunate, and the pain of his illness had tormented him in his later years, but it seemed to me how fortunate he was that the "water of death" in his hand was perhaps the most relaxing moment after his illness, because he knew what he would face after drinking this glass of water, not a fear of when he would die.
But many people are not so lucky.
The last day of their lives may be just as ordinary as countless days.
Maybe he was still partying with friends, maybe he had just been reunited with his family, and without a hint of warning or prediction, he came to an end.

There is such a movie that is about the day before death.
Not a tragic drama deliberately rendered to earn our tears, nor a sci-fi film that will be the end of the world tomorrow, but a documentary of only 70 minutes.
And it records neither those who already know that they are going to die, nor those who are ready to face death, but those who are the most ordinary people like us, those who do not know that they have been targeted by death, so what are they doing the day before death?

A girl who has not survived graduation
May 23, 2017, graduation, eve, carnival night for four girls.
Maybe it was the next day to graduate and start a new life, and the four girls seemed unusually excited.
Drink, chat.
Bottle after bottle of wine was drunk, and the topic was talked about one after another.
Unconsciously, in the middle of the night, a girl suddenly picked up a constellation book and began to look at the fate of her friends.
A girl is a girl, and the constellation is always the thing that everyone doesn't believe and wants to know the most.
According to the prediction in the horoscope book, one of the four girls will study abroad, one will successfully invest in a small business, that is, someone may steal the wealth, and one will have a child.
But when the horoscope book reached the fourth girl, she said she didn't believe it, the feelings said above were smooth, not at all, I just had a fight with my boyfriend.
"Let's rewrite it," and began to rewrite my life for myself and my sisters in the magazine.
At the age of 21, the age when you are most willing to fantasize, after three rounds of drinking, four girls begin to imagine their future.
Some people want to move to the United States and never come back; some people go to Paris and enter the fashion industry; and some people dream of having a warm little home that can have dinner with the people they like every day.
Unconsciously, the conversation was more than two o'clock in the middle of the night, anyway, at 6 o'clock to go to the graduation ceremony, it was better to continue to drink the bar.
As soon as I turned over the freezer, the wine had been drunk, but unfortunately it was not yet fun.
The sisters want to drink and push each other away, so who will go down to buy beer in the end?
The best thing to do is to look at the constellations and see who should go downstairs and buy a beer.
This lucky girl is...
The screen is black.
When it is bright again, it is an incomparably long shot, the cleaning aunt is cleaning this mess, the previous day was still a laughing hotel, the next day it was a dead silence.
And the results were already said at the beginning.
The chosen "lucky girl" eventually turned into the "most unfortunate" girl.
I have changed the fate in the horoscope book, but I can't change the fate of my life.
Ann who can never eat fried oysters
Ann went home.
She lived in New York for 8 years and has not returned home or information about her brother in 8 years.
This time she quit her job and returned to Thailand, and the first thing she did was to take a picture of her brother.
Sister said, 1, 2, 3, laughs.
"I don't want to take pictures and I don't want to laugh."
But even though the younger brother kept saying that he didn't want to, he still stood in front of the camera in cooperation and slightly smacked his mouth.
However, the sensitive brother sensed from the beginning that there was something wrong with her sister's sudden return this time, but how to ask her was not to say, just a faint reply, nothing, homesick.
The old sister who had not been in touch suddenly returned to Thailand, and there was no reason how it was possible.
But no matter how the younger brother asked, the sister just didn't tell him the reason, but said, "Is the old shop when I was a child still there, let's go eat oysters today."
The younger brother refused, "It will rain today, there are many people, we will go again the day after tomorrow, what are you anxious about, and it is not the day after tomorrow that you will leave." ”
Who would have thought that this innocent remark would become true.
The next day, the sister rode her brother's motorcycle to go for a walk outside, but unexpectedly, she was killed by a suddenly falling telephone pole.
In the end, only one photo was left.
Until Ann left, she didn't eat the oysters she had in mind, and her brother would never know why her sister had come home.
If the first two stories are too unexpected, then this third tells us that people are not good.

No one packed his bags, no one reminded him that his driver's license needed to be updated regularly, and no one trimmed his nails.
Unfortunately, things are unpredictable.
My husband's flight, which was going to the United States for a week on a business trip, had an accident and he couldn't even find the body.
The wife, who thought she was bound to die in front of her husband, was left alone in the human world.
After reading these three stories, how do you feel?

Several protagonists, a few stories, a few fixed camera positions, several long shots of several minutes long, and a black screen that comes from time to time make up this 70-minute documentary.
In this movie, "death" is not hysterical, not crying, not even a shot of a corpse.
It's just something so ordinary that it can't be ordinary anymore.
You also never predict when you'll be in power because of the death of your competitors.
The director of this film, Nawa Peng, is known as the "Thai version of Bigan".
All he excels at is expressing philosophy with truth, and this documentary is his first independently funded film.
It's meant to show us that this is something that's never far away for us.
As it says in the middle of the film:
People die every day in this world, 172,800 people a day, 7,200 people per hour, 120 people per minute, 2 people per second.
And the way the film represents the passage of time is also very special: the ticking stopwatch sound and the ever-changing timer plus death toll in the upper left corner.
Finally, at 70 minutes and 21 seconds, the number of dead was 8442, and it was over.
You will never know, tomorrow and accidents, who will come first.
